Florida Foresight believes that the Gulf coastline of North Florida, with traditions from early sponge fishing to the great commercial and private fishing and shellfish industries of today, and with the special opportunity to feature the history of the mullet seineyards, offers a highly promising and appropriate site for the development of a maritime center.

To turn the dream into reality, Florida Foresight is creating a broad partnership of interested entities, from national, state, and local levels, developing a business and site plan, soliciting financial support, and providing expertise and oversight in utilizing green building and eco-management strategies in the development of the facility.
