To support and advance its mission
and to establish the Big Bend Maritime Center, Florida Foresight is
seeking contracts, grants, donations, and contributions from
individual, corporate, state, national, and international sources,
both in cash and in kind; and pursuing appropriate opportunities for
partnership on projects and programs with compatibly oriented public
and private entities in the State of Florida and elsewhere.

Foresight is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) group and all
contributions are tax deductible (Federal EIN #80-0002371).

Florida
Foresight was awarded a grant of $20,000 by the USDA Forest
Service to assist the Corridor Advisory Group in Wakulla County with
work on the designation of an 88-mile corridor as part of the
248-mile Big Bend Scenic Byway.
We were awarded a $25,000 grant in 2004 by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection , Florida Coastal Management Program for the preparation of a strategic plan for the creation of a maritime center in Panacea, Florida.
We were also awarded a second grant of $50,000 beginning July 2006 by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection , Florida Coastal Management Program for the development of the Big Bend Maritime Center.
